  • The Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) is an independent, nonprofit organization, wholly dedicated to funding leading-edge pediatric cancer research nationwide. Since its founding in 1982, PCRF has raised over $40 million dollars towards the ultimate goal of ending pediatric cancers so children and their families can re-focus on the joys of childhood. This commitment has translated into immediate treatment for children with cancer by developing innovative treatment protocols; improving patients’ long-term quality of life; and supporting those scientists working on the precipice of important medical breakthroughs. In 2016, PCRF earned the distinction of a third consecutive 4-star rating from CharityNavigator.  For more information, please visit www.PCRF-kids
  • The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism (DFJF) is a not-for-profit organization helping families affected by autism live life to the fullest.  Through programs and partnerships, DFJF helps people with autism get access to care; lead more active lifestyles; and grow toward adult independence. NFL Quarterback Doug Flutie and his wife Laurie, whose personal experience raising a son on the autism spectrum inspired their passion to help other families, established the Foundation in 1998.  DFJFA serves families throughout New England, New York, New Jersey, Southern California, Central Florida and Canada. • FrateTrain ALS Research & Support Fund Pete Frates is the 31-year-old former Boston College Division 1 athlete, and creator of the world famous Ice Bucket Challenge, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2012. Pete established the FrateTrain ALS Research & Support Fund to provide funding for targeted ALS research and to help support those afflicted with ALS who have not been as fortunate to receive the support he has. The Fund was created to carry on his and Team Frate Train's mission to raise awareness and assist in discovering a treatment and a cure for ALS. ALS research received tremendous recognition over summer 2014 through the widespread “Ice Bucket Challenge.” Its purpose was to promote awareness of the disease and to encourage donations to research, the cause received an outpouring of support. With the support of countless celebrities including Jimmy Fallon, Matt Damon, and Taylor Swift, the “Ice Bucket Challenge” was a tremendous success; raising millions of dollars to help find treatments and a cure, as well as raising awareness worldwide about this tragic disease.
