Spend the Day with John Mayer Raffle

Grand Prize:
- Three winners will be selected to participate in an incredibly meaningful project honoring our veterans. This November or December, each winner and guest will join John and an intimate group of fans, friends and veterans to spend the day volunteering on a project that both honors and thanks our veterans. Each winner will be able to invite 1 guest.
- Each winner will receive up to $1,600 (if needed, if used) to apply towards travel for themselves and guest.
- The experience will include the volunteer project, lunch with John and photos from the day.
- Each Winner will be awarded a cash prize in the amount of $864.50 to mitigate the Winner's tax liability that results from winning the raffle. This prize is withheld and paid, on behalf of the Winner, directly to the IRS ($728.00) and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts ($136.50). The actual amount awarded may be adjusted proportionally based on the value of the actual prizes received.

The Veterans Health Research Institute is the leading nonprofit research institute in the United States devoted to advancing Veterans health research. In 2011, John partnered with NCIRE to create pilot programs that help veterans overcome post traumatic stress and transition into healthy, productive civilian lives.
