Charities and families, who are involved with people who are seriously or terminally ill, often wish to provide comfort to these ill individuals by introducing them to their favorite celebrity, which can be difficult to do because they are often hospitalized or confined to home. To assist these charities and families in arranging such a meeting, CFC makes every effort to help coordinate one; especially when the ill individual is a child. However, if CFC cannot arrange a meeting, it tries to arrange a phone call, and if neither option is available, it tries to arrange for the individual to receive some personally autographed memorabilia, which is also provided to patients who have gotten a personal visit or phone call. Currently, this service is only available to New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island area patients interested in Boston area celebrities. CFC does not charge the patient, or anyone else, for the visit, phone call, or any of the memorabilia it provides.
