Online Auctions

CFC's Online Auctions are designed to provide celebrities with an easy means of donating items to generate funds for the charities they wish to support, while at the same time creating efficiencies that benefit charities who rarely auction off such items on their own.

Although online raffles are not an innovative concept, CFC believes that by providing several up front services and a focal point from which certain one of kind type items can be auctioned off for charity, that CFC not only adds value to the process but it also provides a catalyst to increase such charitable activity CFC's Online Auctions are designed to provide celebrities with an easy means of donating items for charity. CFC completes all the background requirements including authentication and appraisal and then showcases the item on CFC's website. When someone wants to bid on the item, a link from CFC's website connects him or her to the relative page at eBay, where the actual auction is conducted. Once CFC has collected the funds, it retains 10% of the net proceeds for its own charitable work and donates the remaining funds to the charity(s) designated by the celebrity who donated the item.

Although not conducted online, Ray Bourque's autographed Stanley Cup game worn jersey fetched $20,000 for charity at a live auction.
